This week's episode is a topic that has been slowly building with me I am going to pick on chia seeds a little, but the larger question is 'How much weird food am I supposed to eat?' Now I am trying to eat keto. I feel like everyone is eating food that is so foreign when they post on social media. Flax seed muffins, chia seed pudding, fat in coffee, artificial sweeteners...This all feels weird and not normal. BTW - Aren't artificial sweeteners bad? Guess that is a future topic. I know these are choices. I can eat simple and still be keto. But what am I missing out on then? So I had to research the health benefits of chia seeds. Here is a link to an article on Dr. Axe on chia seeds. Chia seeds appear to be loaded with fiber, protein, minerals, antioxidants, and Omega-3 fats. The article mentions these benefits: Skin Health Digestive Health Heart Health I think I bring the topic up because I am struggling with my perception of myself and the types of things I would do. I do not picture myself as the type of person who makes chia seed muffins. I am not the type of person that seeks out Weekly Wins Kim - Lost another 2 pounds!!! That has my total at 17 pounds. Went to Olive Garden and ordered salmon and broccoli. Robin - Tried eating dairy and it didn't go well. So she listened to her body and stopped!
