Today we are going to be talking with James Kennedy. James is the founder of the 90 Second Newbery Film Festival -- a contest that brings some of the best young filmmakers in the country together to showcase their take on books that have won the Newbery Award or the Newbery honor book. Each film is 90 seconds, hence the name, and everything from Claymation, to black and white films, to special effects have been used to tell the stories that have filled up library collections around the country.
