David Lubar

On this podcast we are going to be talking with David Lubar. David has written everything from series –like "The Weenies" and "Nathan Ambercrombie, Accidental Zombie" to books for middle grade and young adult also. On this program we are going to focus on David's latest opus entitled "Character Driven." It is a book that tells the story of Cliff Sparks, a high school senior and what goes on during his last year of high school. It is teenage angst with just the right amount of humor, pathos and just enough twists to keep you turning the pages. On a purely personal level, I loved this book. I have so many books on my e-reader that I start, get about twenty or thirty pages into them and never finish. David Lubar's book was totally different. Not only did it hook me from the very first page, it brought me, an older guy, right back into high school and experience all the ups and downs that I think are universal for anyone who has been through an American High School.
