Your life is a state of flow. You experience moments of happiness, love and gratitude. You are surrounded by the people you love and feel connected to. You work hard (but not too hard) and find purpose in your work. You express feelings when they bubble up. You are living the life you were meant to live. Huh? Scratch that. The reality is that your life is hectic, maybe even somewhat chaotic. There is pressure from all sides - work, family, marriage, friends - as well as the stress of trying to achieve material goals - house, car, vacation property. You feel discontent in your work. You sense there are things you could change or other things that you want to do. But you can't quite put your finger on what. Or how. But you can come up with a lot of excuses. Your hear yours self say 'until I am this, I can't do that'. Or when you receive advice that resonates on a deeper level, you hear yourself say 'yeah, but this 'or 'yeah, but that'. But what about that tiny internal voice that often whispers warnings to you? It whispers about change, slowing down and finding quiet…about finding more time to do the things that make your heart beat faster and make you feel alive. Really alive. But that voice is purposely stifled as you redirect the end of a Nerf gun from your daughters head to the blank wall. You rush to write what your son just said on Facebook. Then you must tackle the laundry, cook dinner and get the kids to soccer practice in an hour. Meditation will have to wait until tomorrow. On some deep level, you know you should listen more closely to that voice. But you're exhausted. There's already too much on your plate. And, frankly, the thought of change is terrifying. Years pass. Then suddenly, you are at the end of your life, full of regret. Do not let this happen.Choose happiness now. Make change now. Taron Puri, a coach and motivational speaker, takes us through a discussion about the importance of finding our passion and ultimately our power. He speaks about his own journey from becoming a lawyer to a judge to a spiritual healer and the faith it took to jump onto an unknown path. And we learned that if we can focus on being and not having it is possible to have it all. To be truly happy -spiritually, emotionally, mentally - and to have whatever 'things' you desire is absolutely possible. Get your notebooks out.
