A love of physical play led her to an early sports career in high level competitive Taekwondo, and some Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, amongst other bits and pieces of various sports. In 2008, an ATV accident left her with a broken back, which led to her journey of strength in therapy. At Live to Play, Jackie does mostly one-on-one sessions with either training or some type of clinical therapy (injuries, imbalances, movement, etc). She takes a therapy-oriented approach to strength and conditioning. She is certified through the RKC system as a Hardstyle Kettlebell Certified coach, Functional Movement Systems, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Active Release Techniques (ART) and Neurokinetic Therapy. She has experience with elderly and pre/during/post-pregnancy training, but specializes in athletes and injuries. She is the head instructor for Taiwan and Hong Kong's Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT), which includes over 170 medical doctors and physical therapists. When she is not in Taiwan seeing clients or teaching NKT, she is traveling to various countries to learn from the best about strength, movement, physical rehabilitation, and other forms of therapy.
