Ryan Andrews is a dietitian, trainer, and yoga teacher who completed his education in exercise and nutrition at the University of Northern Colorado, Kent State University, and Johns Hopkins Medicine. He's written hundreds of articles on nutrition, exercise, and health, authored "Drop The Fat Act & Live Lean", and co-authored The Essentials of Sport and Exercise Nutrition Certification Manual. Ryan was a nationally competitive bodybuilder from 1996 to 2001. Now he balances gym time with volunteering on organic farms and organizations that prevent food waste. Ryan is currently working with Precision Nutrition. Get out of your comfort zone and expand it. Take some time to think and reflect back on your values and how you're living your life. Don't do conventional exercises that don't work for your body. A great exercise for one person may cause pain and injury to another. Know your body. Blue Zones Incorporating longevity into your training. Don't be afraid to modify your form to better fit your body. Focus on form and muscle feel versus lifting more weight. There are benefits in deep breathing.
