Helen Hanstock is a sports scientist from the UK but living and working in Sweden. She did her Phd in exercise physiology and immunology and has gone on to study the effects on the airways through exercising in the cold. We talk about what happens in the airways when you exercise in cold conditions and why certain winter sport athletes develop symptoms of asthma.
