Caroline has always identified as a drinker of alcohol. She was not only the one who rallied everyone to have shots, she was the one who got everyone at the bar to begin with! In 2013/2014, her husband had a pretty serious health scare and her brother died by suicide that was when she went from a party drinker to someone who was drinking to cope. No one knew this, she continued to perform at work and everything looked great from the outside, but she felt like I was driving with the emergency brake on and knew that she wanted to make some changes to her drinking. Then, on a business trip in London, a colleague hit on her. Although she politely rebuffed him, she couldn’t stop thinking about the “what ifs.” That was her last hangover, in August 2016.
