Getting a break in the entertainment business is tough, especially if your family doesn't come from the same line of work. Your parents, your family, your friends, they're always concerned on how it's going to work out. As a story teller then you need to choose your projects very carefully because you're only as good as the last story you tell and as a story seller you need to be sure of selling the right project at the right price to the right person. Getting good at this business takes some doing and today we're talking to two young men who quit their jobs to pursue a career in entertainment and got really good at it. One of them is an on-screen talent and Writer and the other is a branded Content Creator turned Executive Producer. Amol Parashar is known for his role as Kunal in the Wildstone ads or Chitvan in the smash hit TVF series, Tripling. He's a web-originals darling and has featured in several shows and films playing diverse roles. We'll talk to Amol about how he got to where he is, how he chooses his projects and his fears as a creator. Our other guest, Akansh Gaur is the AVP of Content Strategy & Operations at TVF. Akansh discusses his journey from consulting to entertainment via branded content.
