This week we went all philosophical on you, and discussed two Greek gods: Apollo and Dionysus 👼🏻. How is that relevant to psychotherapy and mental health? Our old friend and philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche made Apollo and Dionysus symbols for the Apollonian and the Dionysian; one representing things like order and rationality, and the other representing things like chaos and intuition. 🔥 📚 These two characters are living within us all (creepy right?!) and go right along with the theories of major psychoanalytic thinkers such as Freud and Lacan 😮🤯 Are you an Apollonian or Dionysian?! Or are you just balanced AF and are both equally? 😁
