Cooking Class with Deanna Cook

Today I thrilled to share our interview with Deanna Cook! As part of the "KIDS: Farm to Table" interview series, we felt that interviewing Deanna was an important piece of the puzzle of empowering children and parent's with valuable knowledge and skills to teach in the art of cooking. Deanna is the author of "The Kids' Multicultural Cookbook" and "Cooking Class" two books designed to support children's interest in cooking and creating kitchen curiosity. She's the former editor of Scholastic and Disney FamilyFun where she often share crafting ideas for kids and recipes on TV showing including Good Morning America, the Today Show, Food Network, and more. And…if those accomplishments are enough Deanna also developed the content for Kidstir, a new kids cooking kit of the month program that is an incredibly fun nd cool way for kids to gain confidence and skills in the kitchen! Deanna is also currently a book editor for Storey publishing, focusing on kids books and cookbooks. As a mother of two Deanna has a family of built in taste testers and crafting helpers.
