In this special edition of EMSCEP Radio we were on location at the Fairfax Fire Rescue EMS Week Training Symposium talking to Dr Bruce Freedman, Chief of Plastic and Hand Surgery at HCA Reston Hospital. He's going to give a quick overview of hand injury management for EMS personnel before his indepth talk at the conference. Bruce Freedman , MD HCA Reston Hospital Chief of Plastic and Hand Surgery and Plastic Surgery Associates of Northern Virginia Dr. Freedman graduated from Duke University School of Medicine in 1982 and is currently the medical director of Plastic Surgery Associates of Northern Virginia. Dr. Freedman is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. With over 40 publications in medical journals and textbooks, Dr. Freedman continues to perform research and lectures nationally on the latest developments in cosmetic surgery.
