In the previous episode , we spoke the games fate or ‘Niyati’ plays, and a story about Bachchan’s first independent and important decision in life when he was barely a teenager. We also read two poems by Maithilisharan Gupt and Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’. ( ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠read more here⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠ ) पिछले अंक में बात की थी बालक हरबंस राय के जीवन के पहले महत्वपूर्ण और स्वतंत्र निर्णय के बारे में, और चर्चा की थी भाग्य या नियति के पुरुषार्थ से संघर्ष के बारे में। इसी विषय में श्री मैथिलीशरण गुप्त और श्री रामधारी सिंह दिनकर की दो कविताएं भी सुनाई थी। आज के अंक में बात करते हैं जब पायोनियर प्रेस में काम करते हुए बच्चन जी को कई दफ़ा अपमान सहना पड़ता था। दुख से जीवन बीता फिर भी - शेष अभी कुछ रहता, जीवन की अंतिम घड़ियों में - भी तुमसे यह कहता सुख की सांस पर होता - है अमरत्व निछावर, तुम छू दो, मेरा प्राण अमर हो जाए! तुम गा दो, मेरा गान अमर हो जाए! मेरे वर्ण-वर्ण विश्रंखल - चरण-चरण भरमाए, गूंज-गूंज कर मिटने वाले - मैनें गीत बनाये; कूक हो गई हूक गगन की - कोकिल के कंठो पर, तुम गा दो, मेरा गान अमर हो जाए! तुम गा दो, मेरा गान अमर हो जाए! ------------- ध्यान मान का, अपमानों का छोड़ दिया जब पी हाला, गौरव भूला, आया कर में जब से मिट्टी का प्याला, साकी की अंदाज़ भरी झिड़की में क्या अपमान धरा, दुनिया भर की ठोकर खाकर पाई मैंने मधुशाला (७२) -------------------- कर ले, कर ले कंजूसी तू मुझको देने में हाला, दे ले, दे ले तू मुझको बस यह टूटा फूटा प्याला, मैं तो सब्र इसी पर करता, तू पीछे पछताएगी, जब न रहूँगा मैं, तब मेरी याद करेगी मधुशाला (७१) ----------------------- Welcome to Madhushala Podcast (मधुशाला) , based on Harivansh Rai Bachchan's epic poetry, written in 1935 and part of the trilogy of Madhubala and Madhukalash .
