I was delighted to meet Lucy McCarraher recently at an event where she was speaking about the benefits of publishing a book for your business. Lucy and her business partner Joe McGregor founded Rethink Press in 2011, a hybrid publishing company, to help entrepreneurs publish books that grow their businesses. I invited Lucy to the Your Book Your Business podcast because I was so impressed with the model they have created at Rethink press which supports the author right through the whole of the book writing and publishing journey. About Lucy McCarraher Lucy McCarraher started her first publishing company while she was at university, and has been publishing, editing and writing ever since. She has been a magazine and book editor, print and TV journalist in Australia; a writers' agent and editor for Methuen in London; as Director of Development at Lifetime Productions International, she developed, script-wrote and edited UK and international TV series. Lucy is the Publishing Mentor for the UK Key Person of Influence Programme and a work-life balance expert. Her first novel, Blood and Water , was published by Macmillan New Writing. Lucy's self help books include A Simpler Life, The Real Secret , and How To Write Fiction Without The Fuss . Lucy has a post-graduate diploma in teaching Creative Writing and Literacy and is an experienced writing coach and trainer.
