UWF Shaken Baby Syndrome

The National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome is launching its first ever Play for Prevention initiative. The campaign encourages Utah families to celebrate kids through play and is partnering with FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention, where Utah families will find activities in the KidCon area April 19th-20th at the Salt Palace Convention Center. In this episode, Utah grandmother Joann Otten, the driving force behind Miley's Law that created a new online Child Abuse Registry, and Danielle Vazquez, the Director of Development of the NCSBS, join Host Rebecca Cressman. They explain how Utah communities and the Play for Prevention campaign can help prevent the shaking and abuse of children while supporting and educating families and caregivers.
