Utah Faith Leader Unite in Hope to Prevent Suicide

Faith leaders from a variety of Utah denominations met together this summer to build a greater understanding of the unique role they play in suicide prevention, counseling, healing, and recovery. In this episode of Utah Weekly Forum, FM100.3'S Rebecca Cressman is joined by Rabbi Samuel Spector of Congregation Kol Ami, Pamela Atkinson, Advocate for the homeless, refugees, an low income families, and finally, Morrisa Henn, Intermountain Healthcare's Community Health Program Director. Preventing suicide requires all of us to learn how to communicate and give support in healthy ways. Resources are available from both NAMI and the Utah Suicide Prevention Coalition.
