Questions About This Episode

What is The AAP - The Magic Numbers about?

AAParmy Assemble! You might want to turn your head, cause someday you're going to get hungry and eat most of the words you just said… The Absolutely Awesome Podcast says relax. This week, we're joined by Romeo Stodart, lead singer with the awesome Magic Numbers. A mainstay of the live and festival circuit for the last decade since the release of their magnificent self-titled debut, the band have continued to make remarkable music and their latest release, Alias, is another collection of fantastic melodic tracks - you can get a taste yourself via the Alias album sampler on YouTube . Romeo discusses the evolution of the band, from his musical youth in Trinidad, New York and London, the process that went into the creation of the new album, and the ups and downs of fame, with special mention of Brian Wilson and Paul Weller - throughout, Romeo is very honest and it's a great and revealing chat you're really going to enjoy. The Magic Numbers play Roisin Dubh in Galway on November 30, Dolans Warehouse in Limerick on December 1, Half Moon Theatre in Cork on December 2, The Academy in Dublin on December 3 and the Limelight in Belfast on December 4 followed by a run of dates across Britain throughout December.
