Episode 1 of TalkAbout features Brett Newcomb, a Licensed Professional Counselor. We talk about how, in his first career as a high school teacher, he had an opportunity to provide critical counseling to some of his high school students. Through this, he realized over time that family therapy may be his real calling. As the interview continues, we talk about how his counseling career developed and now, in semi-retirement, he has become a podcast producer. Wrapping up the interview, we talk about how, through his observation of me demonstrating how to record and edit a podcast, he observed that I had ADD. I used the opportunity to have him analyze how I adapt to my challenge.
