In this episode, we continue our “Movers and Shakers” month of March by sharing the live interview we recorded on 16 March 2022 with Amy To, the co-founder of the Mexican restaurant, Amor Mexico located in Blackburn, Victoria, Australia. Amy is the youngest of five from a refugee family but has been an entrepreneur for most of her life. A wife of two boys, public speaker, workshop facilitator and community builder, in this interview, Amy shares about the importance of community and courage in business, life and love. Amy also shares some wise life advice from her late father, the power of small acts of kindness and how the Amor Mexico community really stepped up and helped during Covid. Amy is also one of the co-authors of the book, "My Courageous Journey" a collaborative book project that features 10 women sharing raw and real stories of courage.
