When it comes to cancer, those approaching it from a ketogenic dietary standard are onto something - they know that sugar feeds cancer cells, they know that carbs feed cancer, they know that a high fat diet is very beneficial for approaching cancer. However, the most common thing I see with folks on a strict keto for cancer is that they miss other very big important pieces of the healing pie! Yes, eating a high-fat diet helps to heal cancer - but, many people get caught-up in counting macros and lose sight of other healing foods and ways that are primary for the healing process. And, this primary focus starts in the gut!
