In this episode, Kelly is speaking with Nicole Dabeau on the several traumas and mental health challenges she has faced through life - as many of us do. Nicole touches on the loss of a childhood caretaker, a loss that shaped the rest of her life. Followed by teenage rebellion, being sexually assaulted by a high school acquaintance and the bullying that ensued. She soon found herself living in Africa, and then in LA working as a TV correspondent, traveling all over the world. A couple of years later, Nicole became unexpectedly pregnant, gave birth, and then fell into a deep depression in which she legitimized her suicide. Nicole is now a single mother, and starting a foundation called The Fem to help and connect women from all walks of life.
