Complete with a barrage of glares, head-shakes, and the lovingly judgemental insult "Bless your heart!" Not to mention my response could easily make the viral-highlight reel of what not to do in these situations. Indirect fire from an enemy - no problem, I can handle it. Screaming child punching his brother over a HotWheels car and I'm losing my mind. But what is the right response? Who has the answer for good parenting? What are the consequences when a society stops disciplining children and begins indulging their every whim in an effort to protect their fragile emotions? This week D, J, and guest Alabama discuss the recent viral video of a dad who disciplined his daughter by making her walk to school. The social media commentary on this video is a scary glimpse into a society that has abandoned any form or reasonable discipline and accountability. We aren't saying we have the right answer, but good old-fashioned discipline is what made us Green Berets and not 9th place finishers with participation trophies!
