Throughout mystical traditions the world over the heart and heart center have been understood to be a gateway of sorts to Truth. The wisdom one needs in order to discover the secrets of Illumination (or, to use the old phrase: "to know God") can be found in our heart energy. But these secrets can only be attained by lifting the dark curtain of ignorance that covers the mirror we call our heart. We lift the curtain and we polish this mirror. Then the hidden treasures of divine beauty and love can begin reflecting these secrets out into our life in the physical domain.
