On Thursday 8 March 2018, International Women's Day, the High Commission of Canada in the UK hosted Global Women, to celebrate contributions of women and girls in global life and to learn about the unique challenges they face. Each speaker was asked to share one thing they would recommend to women in International life or beyond. Natalie Samarasinghe is the first ever female Executive Director of the United Nations Association of the UK Natalie's key message to women is about the importance of confidence. The event was held in partnership with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Department of International Trade, and Department for International Development.
