I had never met Deniz before our interview so had little idea of where our conversation about life in France would take us. But I can say now that it was a fascinating and wide-ranging discussion, full of surprises from Deniz who is a very intelligent and talented person! Just some of the topics we covered are: her first impressions of France, learning French and struggling with the French accent, volunteering in France, finding work here, journalism in France and Turkey, and of course... food!
