I figured it was something about Tom Petty or her dogs but it was, in fact, a very funny and skillful micro-essay on why she listens to Depresh Mode and why, after years of listening, she became a member. Her argument was one that I would never dare make but enjoyed: if you’re not paying, it’s theft. I passed her post around to Max Fun folks and they got excited.
