Is It All Light and Love When We Pass?

I was quite happy about these 2 OBEs as they happened in a room I have never OBE’d from, place seems to be important for me I generally only leave my body in rooms I am familiar with, not always but generally this is the case. I am dreaming but suddenly wake up in my body as in the dream I feel the energy sensations and this alerts my mind, I go over to the window, the blinds on the window are white and quite thick, physically that is, I donb’t know why but I think to myself that they may be difficult to get through, however, I get through OK. I come out in a town, it is a bit dark and dreary, the town has just been through a war, and the people are busy trying to build up the town again. There are still a few tanks around that don’t seem to realise that the war has ended though they don’t seem to be doing any damage. I avoid the tanks and find myself with a group of people who are trying to rebuild the sewage system of the town. The energy is heavy. I then picked up and carried along by a strong force, it feels so good I am flying so fast, I see stars in front and a bright light, it feels wonderful. I am back in my body and I get out again. I say to my highr self, ‘take me where I need to be’ and I find myself in a town with rather cramped living conditions. I am in one of the apartments talking to 2 people, they know they are dead and I tell them I am out-of-body. (Having recently listened to a podcast where people were discussing the afterlife, and I use this term in a very loose sense as it is really just a ‘continuelife’ after we die but for ease of explanation here I’ll use afterlife, there was something on my mind. The discussion during the episode was around reported near death experiences and a lady who channels a well-known person. I don’t want to mention names as this isn’t meant as a criticism I am simply trying to understand. The main theme of the podcast episode was that when we die we all go to a marvellous place full of light and love. Given that many of my experiences are sometimes very far from this concept and I meet people who need help moving on, or people living in astral cities which leave a lot to be desired, this concept of the afterlife all being light and love for everyone doesn’t quite ring true. I cannot deny my experiences, I have had many all around this theme of people being stuck in the lower realms and I know others who do similar work in the astral. These thoughts were in my mind in this OBE.) So back to the town where people were living in cramped conditions, I am in the apartment with the 2 people who know they are dead and I ask them why they are living in such a place, on Earth people are talking about the afterlife being all light and love yet they were living in this place. Unfortunately I don’t remember anything else. So what explanation can I offer myself. Maybe the people on the podcast are only looking at one aspect of the afterlife and aren’t aware of all the more, let’s say, dreary aspects, or they want people to be positive about the afterlife so when they die they die with positive expectations, which of course does help. The higher your vibration when you die the better. Maybe the truth has to be bent for the good of some people who may be intimidated simply by knowing about the lower astral realms. We are all indeed held in light and love, there are always happy endings but if all our darkness disappears on death why do I and so may others find ourselves retrieving people from the lower astral? I am still pondering this. Happy travels!
