今回のお参りは第八十四番札所、南面山・屋島寺です。 観光のお寺として有名な屋島寺。一般の人も多く、賑わっています。 現在は近代的な整備がされていますが、その歴史は古く、天平時代に鑑真和上が開いたお寺です。 今回の凸凹同行記は・・・ 境内で大きな狸の像を見つけて驚くごんた。 この狸は、佐渡の団三郎狸、淡路の芝右衛門狸と並んで『日本三名狸』と言われている、太三郎狸の像です。屋島寺には太三郎狸の逸話が伝えられています。
