きくへんろ。【第80回】

今回は第七十九番札所、金華山天皇寺高照院です。 住宅街の中にあるこちらの札所は、明治の廃仏毀釈の歴史から、山門の代わりに鳥居が建てられています。 日本武尊(やまとたけるのみこと)ゆかりの「弥蘇場(やそば)の泉」の逸話も伝えられています。 今回の凸凹同行記は・・・ 寺号の「天皇」は平安時代の崇徳上皇に因むものだそうです。 保元の乱で敗れ、坂出に配流となった崇徳天皇。 『悲運の帝』とも呼ばれる所以を、たけやんが話してくれます。
