きくへんろ。【第79回】

今回は第七十八番札所、仏光山郷照寺です。 歴史が古く大きな伽藍で、山の上からは瀬戸内海を一望できる、見晴らしのよい札所です。 このお寺が開かれた当時は『道場寺』という寺名でした。 『道場』とは、現在一般的に言われている意味とは違うものだったようです。 今回の凸凹同行記は・・・ 行基様が『道場寺』として開き、一度は衰退し、鎌倉時代に時宗の開祖、一遍上人が再興して『郷照寺』となりました。 法相宗の行基菩薩に時宗の一遍上人、、、ごんたに「宗派って何や？」という疑問が生まれました。
