My cycling obsession made me join many bicycle Facebook groups. Most of these groups focus on the typical hobbyist, but one group was genuinely making an impact on the world through bikes. That's how I found out about the Bike Scouts Project and Myles Delfin. In 2013 after the wake of the devastation brought about by Typhoon Yolanda, they spent four months in Samar and Leyte as volunteer bike messengers. The story of how they started and how they have grown as a community is something anyone can learn from. In this episode, we talked about the importance of human connection, the origins of the Bike Scouts, growing a community, finding corporate partners, and doing all that with a sense of adventure through bicycles.
