Laziness by Ashley Martinez

Laziness is: the quality of being unwilling to work or use energy; idleness. It is the most difficult sin to define, and to credit as sin, since it refers to a peculiar jumble of notions, dating from antiquity and including mental, spiritual, pathological, and physical states. One definition is: a habitual disinclination to exertion, or laziness. The word “laziness” does not appear in the KJV bible. But instead, it uses words like “sluggard” and “slothful” to describe people that are lacking energy and slow-moving. God put Adam in the garden of Eden to work the soil and maintain it (Genesis 2:15). Therefore we must bring glory to God through our work.
