Questions About This Episode

What is The High Price You Pay for Overthinking about?

Business Coach and former personal chef Stephanie Heller is a straight shooter when it comes to the high price of overthinking. She wants people to not buy into their broken stories because the costs are vast. Slower decisions in business, losing time because you don’t know what to focus on, not knowing what to invest in or how close you are to people or let in… are all caused by overthinking. Her thriving business once employed eight other chefs - cooking for 30 different athletes and sports club owners and for the Dodgers spring training major and minor league teams - but s he overthought even with the success. She eventually walked away from a fantastic income for eleven years to pursue her dream to help other people who are struggling… with what used to drain her on a daily basis… overthinking. Now she has freedom with coaching, and can still cook to relax (she gives a wonderful pesto recipe at the end you don’t want to miss.) Right now in quarantine we are overthinking our kids schooling, health of aging parents, the future of our businesses… and we need to be vigilant to not dulling ourselves with various unhealthy distractions. These behaviors she outlines (which she calls buffering) can hold us back from our dreams. The true only way through overthinking is to be okay in the uncertainty. Are you an aspiring author?
