The Body Image Story continues today with Part 5 where I'm diving into a complicated history with clothing. I talk about the challenges of shopping for a larger body, the fear of having tags show, crying in the bathroom at age 12 trying on bathing suits, the triple layered tank tops that were tough to quit, and that awful, clingy fabric that showed up in every discount clothing store that showed off every unflattering lump and bump. My relationship with clothing has changed, but the story isn't close to over. In this episode I also dive into the horror story of meeting with a plastic surgeon to discuss a breast reduction, only to be handed a business card that said "Lose 50lbs and call me back."
