Xpedition Podcast - Episode 51 (2010-02) Best Of The 2000s Decade In Trance - Part 1 (Nos 50-26)

Well, this was one of the harder podcasts to put together. My original intent was to put the best (aka my favorite) progressive AND trance tracks of the last decade together on one big podcast. But that was just impossible; there are way too many good songs in both genres and since the goal was to do a countdown, they really wouldn't mix all that well without the set jumping all over the place. So, I've created 2 sets...best of progressive/house and the best of trance/progressive trance. It's broken down into 4 parts, and this is the first one: The Best of the Decade (2000-2009) in Trance, Part 1 (Numbers 50 thru 26). Like all good lists, it's in reverse order. So how did I decide the order? Using numbers of record sales or weeks on the charts would've been way too easy and I'm sure someone has or will do that. No, I went in the order of "man I LOVE this song, but I LOVE this song way more." This pretty much helped eliminate almost all the songs that got way too overplayed in the last decade (most, not all) and lots of crap songs IMO. Like all lists, it's not perfect but it's my list.
