She was raised in Missouri City, TX and like most superstars Mykel’s magnetic energy demanded the spotlight at a young age. As a student at the prominent Howard University, Mykel sharpened her skills and earned a Bachelor Degree of Fine Arts with a concentration in acting. Her God given talents have allowed her to experience levels in the industry that most upcoming talents aspire to achieve. Musically, she has worked side by side with award winning artists and world renown producers. Her television career at BET paved the way for her to interview and rub shoulders with some of the most influential celebrities of our time such as: Terrence Howard, Harrison Ford, Kerry Washington, Pharrell Williams, Nicki Minaj, Quentin Tarantino, Samuel L. Jackson, Jamie Foxx, Justin Timberlake and many more. Miss Mykie is currently in the midst of re-launching her career through various projects involving music, TV & Film, an autobiography, and a nationwide entertainment tour.
