Rubén Castilla Herrera

Rubén Castilla Herrera is a native Texan who spent his childhood working with his family as migrant farmer workers. He is a graduate of the Methodist Theological School in Ohio, and he works as an immigrants and farm workers rights advocate in Columbus, Ohio. The purpose of 'We Are Compatible' is to explore the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals and families as well as their allies in order to show that, regardless of what the United Methodist Book of Discipline may say, they are, in fact, compatible.
