February 11 2020 The fifth CNML Math Contest takes place today at the start of lunch in rooms 406, 410 and 412. Attention Robotics club members. We are meeting today after school, and not Thursday after school. On Friday after school some of the Computing Club competed in February’s Moose contest. Please Congratulate them as many of the teams had fewer members this contest. Here are the fantastic results: In first place, Keenan G and Alex L In 3rd place, Parveer B, Daniel Y, Karan M, and Rick L In 5th place, Jackie T, Claire T, and Sasha K And In 9th place, Ziv S and Michael And our Junior team of Tristan O and Jeffery Q placed 4th, well done CS vikes! ESL Sports night is happening on Wednesday February the 12th from 6-8pm. Everyone is welcome! Come alone or bring a friend and get ready for a great night of sports, friends and fun! Hey Vikes! Relay For life is coming this May 28th. Are you interested in helping plan and organize Relay? If so please come down to the student council office at anytime during the day this week to fill out a sign up sheet! Remember Relay is 3 months away so start getting your teams together of up to 15 WCI students. Thanks Vikes! Are you interested in diplomacy, foreign affairs, and in participating in a Model UN simulation for students across Waterloo? Well, come out to Model UN Club in room 325 today at break for more information about the conference on how to be a successful independent participant. See you there! For those registered for the CCC this week, we will be writing in Rm 218 and Rm 216 immediately after school. Please sign onto the Grader and try the practice to make sure your account is working properly before Wednesday. Hey everyone! the Theme for this years collaborative art piece for ACF is the Climate Crisis. there will be a meeting for anyone interested on Tuesday at lunch in room 129. hope to see you there. Sometimes we think that you have to be in a relationship to celebrate Valentines Day but forget that!... Valentines Day celebrates all kinds of love and we would like to do that here at WCI. So come on out to room 215 on Valentine's Day at lunch to celebrate that love comes in all forms. The GSA is hosting a Valentines Day party that will have some cookies you can decorate, a Kahoot and some cards. See you there!
