The Seed of the Woman

We often think the Christmas story begins with Mary, Joseph, and a baby in a manger, but it actually starts in the Garden of Eden. Long before Bethlehem, God made a promise to a serpent. That the offspring of the woman would crush evil once and for all. This promise first whispered in Genesis 3 is the true origin of Christmas. The child in the manger came to destroy sin, defeat Satan, and bring us back to God.
