Participate

This one is for the down and outs, the bedraggled, and the ones who are showing up technically but not really. Dry, discouraging places can really take it out of us, but that's not their purpose. They are an opportunity to lay down what no longer fits to step into who we were meant to be. But for that chrysalis of a process to begin we have to agree to participate fully in the season, showing up with our hearts in our hands. Faith. Belief. Naked, shaking trust that God is who He says He is and will still do exactly what He said is how we show up. It's how we participate.
