241: The Vegan Connector

Rafael Ruiz is a father of 2 kids; he has a daughter in college and a son in High School. He decided to stop eating all animal products in August of 2018 at the age of 45, after watching a documentary called "Food Choices." Since Rafael is in his forties, he felt it necessary to focus on his health, and make changes necessary to live his best life. Since switching to veganism, he's learned to help inspire his own kids, as well as others, by sharing his vegan journey. This not only includes his food choices, but the actions he's taken to volunteer at animal sanctuaries, switch to vegan products and promote others on his own show, The Vegan Connector Podcast. Rafael's podcast hosts guests who have also used their passions for veganism, and allows them to share their stories of knowledge and experience with others.
