Professional football player-turned-actor Isaac Keys, doesn't believe in letting anything stand between him and the achievement of his goals. As his last name serendipitously indicates, the Saint Louis, MO native realizes that he's innately armed with the utensils necessary to bypass any and all barriers. Among these tools are talent, optimism, perseverance, a killer work ethic and a healthy heap of faith. Isaac is one of the stars of the Epix original series Get Shorty , which is now available on Netflix. Check it out! It is one of maybe favorite shows I've seen in years. He also stars in the new show The Oath. Isaac has been an underdog from day one. He played football at Morehouse College, a Division II school. Despite being a walk-on at a small football school, this did not deter Isaac from working hard enough to make it to the NFL. Isaac was a journeyman in the league from 2001-2007. Once his football career was over, he decided to go against the odds once again and become an actor. Isaac had no formal acting background but worked his way through the industry for years and has now landed starring roles in Get Shorty and The Oath .
