Stefaan de Rynck, Head of the EU Representation in Belgium, and former senior advisor to Michel Barnier, is author of 'Inside the Deal: How the EU got Brexit done', published by Columbia University Press. Noting the distance between perceptions of the negotiations in the UK and the EU, this book gives an unvarnished account of the EU approach in the face of a constantly changing cast of actors on the UK side.
