The integration of mind, body, and spirit is an important goal for women’s health, yet various life events may negatively affect your ability to achieve such balance. Postpartum depression, miscarriage, loss, major transitions, illness, and other physical changes may overwhelm your ability to cope and may place you at risk for depression, anxiety, grief or other emotional responses that disrupt daily living. At UAMS Health, we are here to help, whether you are pregnant and struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues or you are a woman who is having difficulty getting pregnant. The services include an initial evaluation, medical evaluation and management, short-term therapy and referrals to community agencies and/or providers.
