I'm incredibly grateful that Amina Adewusi was willing to take some time and dive into the topic with me. You may know Amina from the conference she created, Scalabase, which is a conference focused on newcomers to Scala, or maybe her course Learning Scala on LinkedIn, which is a short course focused on giving newcomers to Scala a great introduction. She had a ton of insight about the beginner experience, getting starting contributing to open source, and diversifying the ecosystem.
