Emma Davies is someone who after noticing just how many books her children had collected over time realised she’d rather do something a bit different with them than just take them to the charity shop. This was the start of Bury Book Buddies . Emma had saw something similar in Cumbria called “ West Cumbria Look for a Book “, but Bury Book Buddies certainly has a nice ring to it. In the episode I chat to her about where she hides books, what books she likes herself and about recently being nominated for a Pride of Bury award (sadly it looks like she just missed out on the finals) and also how to get involved with Bury Book Buddies. 15:55 – Ramsbottom United News: ⚽ Ramsbottom United were away to Gateshead in the FA Cup 2nd round qualifier and facing tough opposition, it wasn’t going to be easy.
