Kelly shares the terrifying moment she learned her unborn daughter had a serious heart condition, and how from that point on, pregnancy became a constant state of fear. What should have been a joyful time was instead filled with hospital appointments, uncertainty, and the overwhelming feeling that everything could fall apart at any moment. Kelly opens up about how isolating trauma can be - especially when you don’t want to “burden” others or don’t know where to turn for support. From those darkest moments came a deep understanding of just how broken the system can feel for parents navigating high-risk pregnancies and baby loss. Out of that pain, Making Miracles was created. What began as Kelly’s own way of surviving became a lifeline for others. The charity now offers emotional and therapeutic support for families at every stage - from pregnancy, to loss, to life after.
