David has lived on the barge since the 1980s when it first docked in Red Hook. The ship itself has a long history that we explore in this episode. It currently serves as a museum, performance space, and David's home. David led a previous life of adventure as a juggler on cruise ships in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.
