Race is the leather/kink columnist for the San Francisco Bay Area Reporter, the Founder and a former President and Managing Editor for Daedalus Publishing Company, the first publishing house dedicated to publishing non-fiction books about leather, BDSM & kink, and a pillar of San Francisco's LGBT and Leather communities. Race and I have a far ranging conversation that ranges from the inherent awesomeness of Margaret Cho, to PrEP and San Francisco's revolutionary "Getting to Zero" campaign against HIV. Most importantly we talk about the profound impact he had on me as a young queer living in San Francisco in my early 20s.
