In this episode, Molly Hendry and Keith Turney guide Kyle and Jake on a tour of the Kaul Wildflower Garden, a space within the Birmingham Botanical Gardens that celebrates the diverse flora of the region, and they discuss their plans to recreate an oak-pine savanna ecosystem in a portion of the garden. The goal of this addition is to offer an easily accessible glimpse of a now rare ecosystem that historically covered vast portions of the eastern united states.
